Ive been trying Apple Reminders for 5 months now, and although I like it more than I initially thought, I went back to Things 3 today. Why I feel Reminders is getting in my way with the amount of taps and clicks I need to do, doesnt feel fluid, and some systems are plain counterintuitive.

When you care about order and compacting with random access CRUD abilities, someones gotta be a garbage collector. This is reminding me of the earliest mistake I made with coding:

things#things + 1 = newThing()
things#things.id = #things

Then I add deleting and oops, suddenly your IDs are wrong.

I think it's ready! Version 1.0.0 of my Things 3 plugin for is now available for download.

It has basic functionality to browse the app sections, projects, areas, tags and tasks.
You can add an auth key to create tasks.
You can create tasks from any text:
title>>notes
, separated, by commas
dates in natural language
! deadlines the same

You can also decide to create them in a project and area.

It's usable now!

I still want to tweak it to deal better with certain types. Eg. tasks for contacts, files or URLs

But I think this is almost ready for a 1.0 release. Up next for that purpose will be:
- add app sections (eg. today, inbox, etc.)
- add tags
- add children to sections, tags, projects, and areas
